  I know that my teeth aren't great growing up without medical benefits (I don't eat candy)and then the military did some fillings...I started a new civilian life and tried this dentist. I've been afraid to go back to ANY dentist at all after seeing this one 4 times! Every visit he would insist on having a dental hygienist show me like a child what to do. Then he would tell me not to eat things like bananas and potatoes or drink anything with sugar,but if I did then drink through a straw,quickly swallow,and try not to taste it(what a life). He REFUSED to do any cosmetic work and said I would look ''goofy" if I didn't see an Orthodontist first who he referred me to. I saw the Orthodontist who told me my teeth aren't bad enough to need alignments. On my last day there he still insisted that I get the braces and that I would waste money getting anything done because it would look stupid and "I would just ruin them again with my diet and cleaning habits". Meanwhile, I had 2 teeth needing caps where the temporaries fell out and completely exposed without enamel. I shouldn't have to beg to get work done on my teeth. I never returned and this office kept sending me many post cards saying how concerned they were about the state of my mouth and that I should return immediately. I was extremely offended by these post cards just as I was offended on each visit when they told me how bad my teeth were. All I wanted was to fix my teeth and start looking better but all I got was insulted and couldn't get the teeth fixed that I begged to get worked on. All he did were repair fillings that the military already put in and then I kept getting the full bill in the mail apparently my insurance wasn't good enough . I'm looking for a new Dentist but I refuse to pay to be insulted and shamed.
